[ A letter from Jo ]
For twenty years I walked into people's homes as a community nurse. I saw extraordinary kindness — and I saw people falling through every gap the system had.
I watched carers burn out quietly. I watched brilliant clinicians lose the joy that brought them into the work. And I watched patients made to feel like case numbers in their own story.
So in 2015 I started something small: an evening talk in a church hall in Chelmsford. Forty people came. They stayed for three hours.
That room became this charity. Today our membership funds free webinars, guides and community for every patient and carer who needs us — and gives professionals somewhere to learn, rest and remember why they care.
